Mazda MX5 vs Eunos Roadster. Known as MX5 in the UK, Miata in America and Eunos Roadster almost everywhere else, Mazda's pretty 2 seater convertible captured the imagination of drivers world-wide upon its launch in 1989. Contrary to what some UK Mazda dealers will tell you, the Eunos roadster is very similar to the UK Mazda MX5. In fact both are made in the same Mazda Motor Company factory in Japan. There are differences in specification - the Eunos tends to have a much higher level of equipment as standard compared with its basic UK counterpart.
Power steering, air conditioning, electric windows and alloy wheels feature as standard on the Roadster. The Roadster V spec is an even higher specification limited edition. It is available in British Racing Green or black - both with tan leather interiors and upgraded stereos and interior trim detail.
