The female end of the black lead, left, connects to the vehicle's aerial lead.
The male connector on the other black lead fits to the back of the radio set.
The pink lead is the 12v power supply - power on when ignition is in accessory position.

This top quality channel expander is designed to convert Japanese domestic market radio sets, thus allowing the reception of all UK FM stations. AM broadcasts remain unaffected. This unit is simple to install - it is fitted in-line to the vehicle's aerial lead, and requires only one 12v switched power supply. Full fitting instructions are provided. We have tested many alternatives and this is the best conversion we have come across.

Information
Channel expanders do not alter the radio set's display. Stations between 88 and 102 MHz appear 12 MHz lower.
Similarly stations above 102MHz appear on the screen 24MHz lower.
