Model reports can cost thousands of pounds to produce and are often available to rent from specialists such as modelreports.com. If a model report for a particular vehicle is not available then almost certainly it will not be an economical proposition for a private individual to create one. The unsuspecting, or perhaps more accurately, the under-researched importer will be left with a vehicle that cannot be registered and one that is suitable for spares only and valued accordingly.
