Information
Japanese domestic market vehicles are generally not equipped with rear fog
lamps.
It is an SVA requirement that at one, and a maximum of two, approved rear fog
lamps must be fitted, together with an operational tell-tale light visible from
the driving position. If two lamps are fitted then they must form a pair. There
are various other dimensional requirements. Please note that modifications to
the standard rear lamp cluster, i.e. converting redundant stop lamps into fog
lamps, will almost certainly not pass SVA requirements.
